Because more and more people have been getting out-right scammed online, the FTC has created new regulations that govern online sales and they way people can make money online. During the many years I have been online, nothing this BIG has really ever happened.

Now credit card companies are jumping on board and changing their rules as well. Below I posted a .pdf that will help you understand what is going on and how it can affect your online business. Give it a good read and make sure your online business isn’t processing payments illegally.

Since this report came out, I actually had to make a few changes with the way I process payments for my membership site at www.MyMarketingAcademy.com

In my opinion, what is happening right now is GOOD. It’s about time new rules were released that protect our valuable customers from evil people of the world that use “ugly and shady” marketing techniques to make their money online by scamming their visitors out of their hard earned money.

So don’t let all the scare tactics SCARE you! Whats happening now isn’t that bad. Even though it affect almost everyone, it’s really only HURTS those who are hurting others. If you run a legit and honest business then you probably wont have to change much, if anything.

Just understand the new rules and abide by them and keep making money like usual.
